Updated With More Pics: Kline's Parking Warning

This pic was just sent to me.

Eh. I don't know. I suppose it's not clearly marked, but given the fact that he's the city manager, and nobody else parked there because it actually is marked, you start to wonder why he seems to be the only person unaware that it was a handicapped spot. But then again the only way you'd notice the handicapped marking was if you're looking for it. It's a fine line I guess. Defendable I suppose, but it's indicative of the kind of guy who pulls up and parks next to the door - because well - he's the city manager. On the other hand because he's city manager you'd think that he'd know it was a handicapped spot.

Splitting hairs? Perhaps. But this guy fired the city's Police Chief over the same type of pettiness.
UPDATE: I was just sent a few more shots. Different angles:

I'm sorry but everyone else knew it was a handicap parking spot and did not park there. Does he think he is privileged and it was left open just for him. Seems arrogant to me.

Chaulk it up to many of the dumb things Kline does without thinking. I believe you can be fined up to $400.00 for parking in a handicap parking space. I am sure the cop checked out the license plate before making a decision on what to do and that is why he went into the inner office and then issued a warning. Was it that important for Kline to step out of his meeting to move his truck or for the cops to call him on his cell to inform him of the violation while he was in the hearing? I think it couldn have waited until the hearing took a lunch break.

If the cop in fact did look up the license plate and called Kline about the problem, then why didn't the officer that ticketed Nuesse put a calling card on her car instead of putting a ticket on it. Was that officer incompetent and did not call in the license plate. If he did he would know it belonged to the city and why did he not put a calling card on her car. Seems like a double standard to me, or he was out to get Nuesse.

The double standard is very apparent given that the lawyer who is a woman also did not recieve a ticket proving it is all about the GOBs receiving special treatment and lucky for her she was Kline's lawyer.

Got to consider what would the story be if Nuesse and her lawyer had parked in the same spots....

Just a question to 411. Why did you blank out the license plate number when the SR did not?

I blacked out the license plate as a courtesy and precaution. The information can be abused in a number of ways that don't need to be in the public domain. Thanks for noticing and asking.

FYI:

When cops leave PARKING tickets, they don't call in the plate number to see whose vehicle it is. They just write the ticket and place it on the windshield.

So Officer Omert (who ticketed Nuesse) did not know that it was her car.

Don't you think it would be better if the cop would call in the license plate to see if there are any wants or warrents out there. It doesn't take anymore time then it did for this cop to make up his mind and call in.

Wouldn't the ticketing officer have noticed that it was an unmarked car? Radio under dash or something? Maybe just seeing it down at the station.
