Thank you.

Well, how did it go? Did anybody go and if so, what was said?

I didn't go but heard that the Mayor Ward is a go so you can expect petitions to be flying soon.

Dannie Edmond should take his viewpoint to the public. I don't think voters will know enough about the system to vote intelligently on it.

To 411: The voters are smarter than you think. This will be either the third or fourth time the Mayor Ward petition has been taken around. Maybe this petition will finally make it because of all the shenanigans that have unfolded.

It is obvious that the present form of government is not working. Look at the situation of the city, in bad financial condition, looking at lawsuits that will cost the citizens money because of their fumbling, not knowing the laws and rules concerning executive meetings causing under the table agreements out of site of the public, i.e. the agreement for the joint dispatch where 4 commissioners voted for this but the rest of them did not even know a vote was taken and it was not in public. I could name many more but it would take up this whole comments section.

To the last blogger: To this day, no one can explain the vote that went down overnight in private for four commissioners to take dispatch to county instead of Perkins and Stahl will not talk about it. This alone should be investigated because it was illegally decided by four commissioners instead of all seven commissioners and they call Nuesse dishonest.
